“Paint for a Cause,” where art meets social impact
Kathmandu — A community-focused art event titled “Paint for a Cause” is set to be organised in Kathmandu on February 7, 2026, with the objective of promoting creativity while supporting animal welfare.
According to the organisers, the event will take place from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Pragya Pratisthan, Kamaladi. The programme is being designed as a fun and inclusive community painting session, bringing together art enthusiasts, families, and social causes under one platform.
It has been stated that 40 percent of the registration fee will be directly donated to Kathmandu Locals to support stray dogs, aligning the event with a broader social responsibility initiative. Participants will engage in guided painting activities while contributing to a meaningful cause through art and giving.
The registration fee for the event has been fixed at Rs. 999, and interested participants are encouraged to register in advance through the official registration link provided by the organisers.
The event is being organised by Kalayatra by Saks (@kalayatra_bysaks), in collaboration with Kathmandu Locals, with the aim of fostering community engagement and awareness through creative expression.
