Pakistan Embassy and PNAN organize free Medical Camp in Nagarjun
Kathmandu: The Embassy of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Pakistan Nepal Alumni Network (PNAN), organized a free medical camp at Ward 4 of Nagarjun Municipality, Kathmandu, on June 13, 2026.
The health camp provided free medical check-ups and essential medicines to local residents, including senior citizens, women, and children. More than 100 patients received medical services during the camp. Some patients were also referred to tertiary hospitals for further treatment.
Doctors, mostly graduates from Pakistan, volunteered at the camp and offered health consultations to the local community. The programme was attended by PNAN President Dr. Deepak Mishra, Nagarjun Municipality Deputy Mayor Sushila Adhikari, Ward 4 Chairperson Laxmi Ram Sharma, local representatives, volunteers, and community members.
The Embassy of Pakistan thanked PNAN physicians, volunteers, and the local municipality for their support in making the camp successful.
Deputy Mayor Sushila Adhikari expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Pakistan and PNAN for organizing the free health camp for the residents of Nagarjun Municipality.
PNAN President Dr. Deepak Mishra also appreciated the Embassy of Pakistan for its continued support in Nepal’s medical sector and praised its role in strengthening people-to-people relations between Nepal and Pakistan.
The medical camp aimed to support community health services and provide basic healthcare access to people at the local level.
