Kathmandu – Pakistan has provided 100 tons of emergency relief assistance to Nepal to support communities affected by the recent devastating floods and landslides.
The relief consignment arrived in Kathmandu carrying essential supplies including tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits and medicines. The materials are intended to support affected families facing difficult conditions following the disaster.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal, Aamir Khan, formally handed over the relief consignment to Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun in Kathmandu. The handover reflects Pakistan’s continued humanitarian support for Nepal during the ongoing disaster response.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Government and people of Nepal, saying his country remains committed to providing support during the difficult period.
Pakistan also expressed condolences to families who lost loved ones in the floods and landslides and said it remains ready to provide all possible assistance to Nepal as relief and recovery efforts continue.
