Pushpa Kamal Dahal, coordinator of the Communist Party of Nepal (NCP), has been unanimously selected as the leader of the party’s parliamentary group.
The decision was made during a parliamentary party meeting held on Sunday, according to party leader Yubaraj Dulal.
The party also stated that the deputy leader will be chosen at a later date.
In the House of Representatives elections held on Falgun 21, the NCP secured 17 seats.
