Raju Lama Conquers Europe’s Highest Peak Mount Elbrus
Kathmandu: Popular Nepali pop singer, The Voice of Nepal judge, and Mongolian Heart frontman Raju Lama has successfully climbed Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe.
Lama shared the achievement through social media, announcing that he had reached the summit of the 5,642-metre peak. He said the climb marked the third successful ascent in his ongoing Seven Summits Challenge.
Describing the journey as deeply meaningful, Lama said he has always shared a strong emotional connection with mountains and nature. He added that the happiness and excitement of reaching the summit were difficult to express in words.
The expedition included seven Nepali climbers who joined the journey with a shared mission to raise awareness about global warming and the growing climate crisis. Through the campaign, the team aims to encourage stronger action for environmental protection.
Lama has previously climbed Mount Everest as part of his efforts to draw global attention to the impact of climate change. Alongside his music career, he continues to promote environmental awareness and is now moving forward with his Seven Summits Challenge.
