Samsung Nepal launches “Remit Benefit” campaign for Migrant Families
Kathmandu- Samsung Nepal has officially launched its new consumer campaign titled “Remit Benefit,” aimed at supporting Nepali migrant workers and their families by making premium technology more accessible through remittance-based benefits.
The campaign, launched under the theme “From Dreams to Possibilities,” recognizes remittance not only as financial support but also as a symbol of sacrifice, responsibility, and aspiration. Through the initiative, Samsung seeks to help remittance-receiving households improve their quality of life with easier access to modern technology.
Under the campaign, customers can receive up to 6 percent cashback on selected Samsung products including smartphones, televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines. Smartphone buyers will also be eligible for up to 180 GB bonus data on Ncell recharge, along with EMI facilities of up to 24 months.
Samsung Nepal stated that the campaign has been launched in collaboration with major partners including IME Remit, Khalti, Ncell, HFL, HIM Electronics, and Triveni Byapar Limited to ensure better affordability, accessibility, and connectivity for customers across Nepal.
To avail the offer, customers must receive remittance through IME Remit, visit an authorized store with the IME control number, select a preferred device, and apply for financing through HFL. Eligible cashback will be provided through Khalti, while bonus Ncell data will be available on Samsung smartphones.
Speaking at the launch event, Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Senior Director of MX Business at Samsung Nepal, said the company believes remittance reflects the hopes and aspirations of millions of Nepalis working abroad. He added that the campaign is designed to honor their contribution by helping families gain access to innovative technology through affordable and convenient offers.
