Kathmandu – The sixth edition of the National Social Welfare Award 2025 is to be held in Kathmandu on Baisakh 11, 2083; it has been announced by the organizer, Season Media.
The award program has once again been organized by Season Media, an institution long engaged in the cultural, social, and entertainment sectors, with the objective of recognizing, encouraging, and honoring individuals and institutions that have made meaningful contributions in various areas of society.
According to the organizer, individuals and organizations from Nepal and abroad are to be honored for their notable contributions in fields such as social service, humanitarian assistance, emergency rescue, education, healthcare, and other social causes.
Special recognition is also to be given to those who have remained on the front lines during times of crisis, including pandemics, floods, landslides, and earthquakes, as well as to social campaigners and service-oriented individuals whose dedication to society has been continuously maintained over the years.
It has been stated by the organizer that even a small act of support can create a significant impact in society and can play an important role in protecting communities and saving lives. It has also been noted that the contributions made by individuals devoted to social service cannot easily be expressed in words and that the award ceremony has been designed to acknowledge their sense of responsibility and provide them with further encouragement.
Regina Tuladhar, Program Manager of Season Media, stated that the award ceremony has been continuously organized for the past six years with the purpose of encouraging individuals active in the social sector.
She further stated that a spirit of social responsibility is hoped to be developed among citizens, while the younger generation is intended to be inspired toward social services.
According to the organizer, individuals and institutions selected on the basis of having worked continuously in the field of social service for more than 10 years are to be honored during the special award ceremony. Gratitude has also been expressed by Season Media to the social campaigners and supporters who have continued to extend their cooperation, while confidence has been expressed that such support will also be received in the future.
