Shrijanshil Udhyami Mela 2081 drew thousands of visitors
The Shrijanshil Udhyami Mela 2081 concludes today, after a successful three-day run at the Amrapali Complex in Baluwatar. The fair, organized by the Creative Women Entrepreneurs Center, showcased a diverse range of products made by female entrepreneurs and aimed to promote local production and reduce imports.
Over 10,000 visitors attended the fair, which featured more than 80 stalls displaying handmade crafts, agricultural products, clothing, and beauty items. The event was a significant platform for women entrepreneurs to showcase their products and connect with potential customers.
Hariprabha Khadgi, Minister for Social Development in Bagmati Province, praised the fair for its contribution to the local economy and for empowering women entrepreneurs. She emphasized the importance of supporting women-led businesses and promoting domestic production.
Milu Thapa, Chairperson of the Creative Women Entrepreneurs Center, expressed satisfaction with the fair’s outcome and highlighted the positive impact it had on participating entrepreneurs. She noted that the event provided a valuable opportunity for women to network, learn, and grow their businesses.
