The Trans Himalaya Adventure begins: Bikers depart for Mustang
Trans Himalaya Adventure’s Biker Team has started their journey to reach Mustang from Kathmandu.
Tankalal Ghising, member secretary of the National Sports Council inaugurated the journey from Sports Complex, Satdobato.
The team will reach Sarangkot, Pokhara today, followed by Kalopani, Lete, and they will reach Muktinath. Likewise, they will return from Jomsom, Kushma and Pokhara.
The ride will conclude at the Moto Enduro Championship in Pokhara. Prakash Baral, Provincial Assembly Member, NASA Gandaki Chairman Shiva Shrestha, ex-member of Rakhep Sampanna Shrestha, and Chairman of Pokhara Metropolitan Sports Council Deepak Godar will welcome the riders.
The Mountain Sports Festival aims to promote sustainable tourism through Two Wheel Touring and plans to continue as an adventurous sport. In Jomsom, various activities related to adventurous sports including motorbike racing, selfie challenges, safe riding, and talent hunts, will be organized.
This event is being organized with support from the National Sports Council and technical support from the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM) and the Gandaki Automobile Association.
