TikTok publishes the Q3 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report
Kathmandu, Nepal – TikTok has published its Q3 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining a safe digital environment for its users. Covering data from July to September 2025, the report outlines the company’s proactive measures in identifying and removing content that breaches its Community Guidelines, ensuring a positive experience for its global community.
In Nepal, TikTok took action by removing a total of 2,829,612 videos for violating its Community Guidelines during Q3 2025. The proactive removal rate for this period stood at 99.7%, with 98.0% of the flagged videos being taken down within 24 hours.
Globally, TikTok removed 204,534,932 videos, which is about 0.7% of all content uploaded on the platform in the quarter. Of these, 186,608,081 videos were detected and taken down using automated detection technologies. Furthermore, 8,950,735 videos were reinstated after further review. The proactive removal rate globally remained high at 99.3%, with 94.8% of flagged content being removed within 24 hours of posting.
TikTok’s efforts to ensure platform integrity also led to the removal of 118,618,399 fake accounts, as well as 22,226,542 accounts suspected to be operated by users under the age of 13.
The report highlighted that 30% of the removed videos contained sensitive or mature themes that did not align with TikTok’s content policies. Additionally, 15.7% breached safety and civility standards, while 2.7% violated privacy and security guidelines. Notably, 32.9% of the removed videos were flagged for misinformation, and 34.4% were flagged as edited media or AI-generated content.
