Top 5 Finalists of ICT Awards announced

July 25, 2018: The third edition of ICT Awards 2018 has selected top five contestants in the category of product and start-up after a series of selection process.

The selection committee decided on five nominees each in two different categories.

In the start-up category, CellApp Innovation, ekGhanti Services, Nepali Paisa Media Pvt Ltd, People Development Lab Pvt Ltd and Sarathi Pvt Ltd have successfully secured their position in the top five. Isolution life, Sarathi, Smartpalika, Thirdworld Nepal and Udhyami Nepal have made it to the top five list in the products category.

The nomination was open from June 15 to July 3 for seven different categories and there were a hundred plus nominations. After three phases of selection, only top five remain in the competition.”

For the third phase of selection, the participants went through “Presentation and Speed Dating” session on July 21. At the end of the event, 10 jury members selected the top five companies out of 12 by voting on marking criteria that was available to the jury and the participants beforehand.

The top five finalist have to compete in online and SMS voting starting from Wednesday, July 25. Online voting will be open for ten days till August 3.

The event will be held on August 17 at the Hotel Radisson. In the event, the best companies in all seven categories will be awarded.
