Kathmandu — Jagdamba Motors, the official distributor of TVS in Nepal, has launched the new TVS Ntorq 150 in the country, expanding the Ntorq lineup into the 150cc hyper-sport scooter segment.
The new scooter is now available through authorized TVS dealers across Nepal. The company has set its starting price at Rs 369,900.
The Ntorq 150 is powered by a 149.7cc air-cooled O3CTech engine that produces 13.2 PS of power at 7,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, according to the company. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 6.3 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 104 km/h.
Stealth-Inspired Sporty Design
According to TVS, the Ntorq 150 draws design inspiration from stealth aircraft. It features a multipoint projector headlamp, aerodynamic winglets, a sporty tail lamp, naked-motorcycle-inspired handlebars, a signature muffler and colored alloy wheels.
The front end features an aggressive and aerodynamic design, while jet-inspired air vents and integrated winglets add to its sporty appearance.
Smart Connectivity Features
The Ntorq 150 comes equipped with TVS SmartXonnect technology, offering more than 50 connected features. These include turn-by-turn navigation, last parked location, call and message notifications, and ride modes.
For safety, the scooter gets single-channel ABS and a traction control system, which TVS claims is a first in its segment. It also features hazard lamps, follow-me headlamps, telescopic front suspension and adjustable brake levers.
Other practical features include a patented E-Z center stand and 22-liter under-seat storage.
Race and Street Riding Modes
The Ntorq 150 is offered with two riding modes: Race and Street.
According to the company, the Street mode includes an ISS feature, while the Race mode offers a Boost feature along with iGO Assist.
The TVS Ntorq 150 will be available in three color options: Stealth Silver, Racing Red and Turbo Blue. The starting price has been set at Rs 369,900 in Nepal.
