Kathmandu – Nepali music takes a fresh turn with “San Nani,” the latest collaboration between singer and music producer Ujan Shakya and rapper Nawaj Ansari, bringing a new flavour to the contemporary music scene.
Marking Shakya’s first venture into R&B, the track reflects his desire to explore new musical territory and offer his audience a different listening experience. Combining his musical production, songwriting and vocals with Ansari’s distinctive lyrical style and vocal presence, “San Nani” brings together two creative voices with individual artistic identities.

Shakya also expressed his admiration for Ansari’s songwriting, highlighting the creativity and thought behind the words he brings to his music. The collaboration marks a new creative milestone for Shakya, while offering listeners an opportunity to experience a different side of his musical expression.
Recorded at Mey Studios and mixed and mastered by Shakya, “San Nani” showcases the artists’ collaborative approach to contemporary Nepali music.
And there is more to come. Shakya has revealed that another collaboration with Ansari is on the way soon, building anticipation for their next musical project. With “San Nani,” the duo invites listeners to explore a fresh sound and a new dimension of Nepali music.
