EHang and Changan Automobile announce strategic partnership to develop flying cars

EHang Holdings Limited (Nasdaq: EH), a leader in Urban Air Mobility (UAM) technology, has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., China’s second-largest automaker. The agreement, signed in the presence of the Chongqing Municipal Government and industry representatives, aims to enhance the development of flying car technologies, including electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

The collaboration will leverage EHang’s expertise in aerial vehicles and low-altitude flight management, alongside Changan’s extensive manufacturing and market resources. The two companies plan to create a joint venture focused on producing, selling, and operating advanced flying car products. This partnership will expand EHang’s eVTOL product line, targeting a wider consumer base.
