Huge exchange offer: old two-wheelers to be swapped for Tiago EV
Kathmandu: A special exchange scheme titled “Switch to Tiago EV” has been introduced by Tata Motors, targeting the growing interest in electric vehicles in Nepal.
According to Sipradi Trading, the official distributor of Tata vehicles in Nepal, old motorcycles or scooters can be exchanged by customers for the purchase of a new Tiago EV under the scheme.
It has been stated by the company that the campaign will be conducted nationwide from March 13 to March 15 (Falgun 29 and 30 and Chaitra 1). Under the offer, old two-wheelers of any brand can be exchanged, and the Tiago EV can be purchased by eligible customers.
Under the scheme, the Tiago EV can be taken home with a down payment of NPR 499,000. It has also been announced that fair valuation of old two-wheelers, attractive cash discounts, free accessories, and a one-year vehicle tax exemption will be provided.
Likewise, lifetime free DC fast charging through the Sipradi network and free home charging installation will also be provided to customers, according to the company.
It is believed by the company that the scheme will prove useful for customers seeking a safe, comfortable, and technologically advanced electric car. Interested customers can visit authorized Tata Motors showrooms across Nepal during the campaign period, where the benefits of the scheme can be obtained.
