Kathmandu – Renault India has launched the new Triber 100 PS, the latest version of its popular compact MPV, with a starting price of INR 7.84 lakh.
The new Triber 100 PS is the first Renault Group model in India based on the company’s new RGEP platform. It is available in three variants—Evolution, Techno and Emotion.
The biggest update is the powertrain. The vehicle is powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged TCe petrol engine producing 100 PS of power and 180 Nm of torque. According to the company, the new Triber delivers a mileage of up to 21 km per litre.
The MPV continues to offer a modular cabin with 5-, 6- and 7-seat configurations. The third-row seats can be fixed or removed as needed, while the second row offers sliding and reclining functions. Depending on the seating arrangement, boot space can be expanded to a maximum of 625 litres.
The new Triber 100 PS also comes with features including LED lighting, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital LED instrument cluster, wireless charging, push-button start/stop and cruise control.
For safety, the vehicle is equipped with six airbags, 21 safety features, a rear-view camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
