IDP Education Announces Int’l Scholarships for Nepalese Students
July 20, 2018: IDP Education, a global leader in international education services and an Australian Securities Exchange listed company, has announced a scholarship program amounting to a total of AUD 50,000 to assist Nepalese students access quality international education across English speaking countries such as Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland.
Andrew Barkla, CEO of IDP Education said, “To create more opportunities for students from Nepal, IDP will be offering international education scholarships to ten ambitious Nepalese students. The selection will be merit-based to deserving candidates to help them connect to lifelong career success through an international education degree.”
“We are also looking forward to cooperating with non-government organizations (NGOs) in Nepal to support them in their efforts to make education more accessible for underprivileged youth,” added Barkla.
IDP Education also announced plans to open an office in Kathmandu by August 1 to support Nepalese students achieve their international education goals.
