Anjan Shrestha becomes FNCCI president, Four vice presidents elected
Kathmandu-The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has officially appointed Senior Vice President Anjan Shrestha as its new president following the completion of the federation’s 60th Annual General Meeting and election process.

Shrestha assumed the presidency automatically in accordance with FNCCI’s statutory provisions and will lead the country’s apex private sector body for the next three years.The final vote count from Tuesday’s election was completed on Wednesday afternoon, confirming the federation’s new leadership team.

Under the district and municipal category, Krishna Prasad Sharma and Dil Sundar Shrestha were elected vice presidents with 87 and 80 votes respectively. The category has two vice-presidential positions.In the commodity category, Naresh Lal Shrestha secured victory with 63 votes, defeating Shiva Prasad Ghimire, who received 60 votes.Similarly, Prabal Jung Pandey was elected vice president from the associate category after defeating Jyotsna Shrestha.
