Nepal hosts Successful preliminary round of 25th “Chinese Bridge” competition
Kathmandu– The Preliminary Round of the 25th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students in Nepal concluded successfully in Kathmandu on Thursday, bringing together some of the country’s most talented Chinese language learners.
Held under the theme “One World, One Family,” the competition highlighted the participants’ Chinese language skills and their understanding of Chinese culture through speeches, knowledge contests, and traditional cultural performances.A total of 10 finalists from universities across Nepal competed in the final round. Su Yue from Tribhuvan University’s Shankar Campus won the championship with an outstanding performance delivered entirely in fluent Chinese, impressing both judges and audiences alike.
The event served as an important platform for cultural exchange and friendship between Nepalese and Chinese youth, further promoting educational cooperation and people-to-people connections between the two countries.As a co-organizer of the event, the China Cultural Center in Nepal also arranged Chinese cultural exhibition booths and a special “World Heritage in China” photo exhibition, adding vibrant cultural elements to the program and giving visitors a deeper insight into China’s rich cultural heritage.
