Nepal Tech Roadshow USA 2026 Showcases Nepal’s Growing IT Power to Global Market
Kathmandu – The Nepal Tech Roadshow USA 2026 has successfully concluded in the United States, highlighting Nepal’s rising technology industry and its growing potential in the global digital economy.
Organized by the Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) in collaboration with the Nepalese American Chamber of Commerce (NACOC), the event aimed to position Nepal as an emerging technology destination for international businesses, investors, and partners.
The roadshow was held at Embassy Suites by Hilton Grapevine in Dallas, bringing together tech entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, policymakers, and diaspora professionals from Nepal and the United States.
Speakers discussed Nepal’s fast-growing software and IT services sector, skilled engineering talent, startup ecosystem, outsourcing capacity, and IT export opportunities. NAS-IT founding president Richan Shrestha, Leapfrog founder Himal Karmacharya, and Hamro Patro’s Shankar Upreti shared insights on Nepal’s digital transformation and future opportunities in technology.
Nepal currently has more than 2,000 technology companies, over 100,000 tech professionals, and nearly USD 1 billion in annual IT exports. Participants said Nepal’s recent progress in the tech sector has surprised many members of the diaspora and created new interest in collaboration.
According to NAS-IT, the USA roadshow further strengthened Nepal’s global technology presence after the Nepal Tech Roadshow Sydney 2025 and Nepal Tech Connect San Francisco. The event is expected to open new opportunities for investment, outsourcing partnerships, collaboration, and diaspora engagement.
Organizers said such promotional events are helping present Nepal not only as a tourism destination, but also as an emerging hub for technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
The roadshow was held with the major support of Dexperts Inc. from the United States, with support from NACOC, Focus Health, Fusemachines, Global IME Bank, and other partners.
