Nepal Handicraft Expo & Cultural Show 2026 : A Celebration of Handicrafts and Culture Under One Roof
Kathmandu- The Nepal Handicraft Expo & Cultural Show 2026 began on Friday at Amrapali Banquet and Event Pvt. Ltd. in Baluwatar, Kathmandu. The three-day exhibition will continue until May 24, operating daily from 11 am to 7 pm.
Organised by the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal (FHAN) in coordination with district and provincial councils, the event aims to promote traditional Nepali handicrafts, improve market access for local entrepreneurs, and support the commercial growth of cottage industries.
The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Bindu Shrestha, Minister for Industry, Commerce, Land and Administration of Bagmati Province, who lit a ceremonial oil lamp as chief guest.
Around 70 stalls are showcasing handicrafts, ethnic foods, and other export-oriented Nepali products under the theme “Make in Nepal, Made in Nepal.” The expo also includes cultural performances and live skill demonstrations by local artisans.
Organizers have announced that entry to the exhibition is free for all visitors.
