Payaadyo festival

The ‘payaadyo’ ritual includes wrapping the ‘payaadyo’ or the sword of the goddess Taleju Bhawani with a piece of red cloth and a person wearing armour brandishing this sword and taking it around the place. The ritualistic sword symbolises the goddess Taleju Bhawani.
