9th Mango Ride 2026 to promote Nepal’s Mango Farming and motorcycle tourism
Kathmandu: The Himalayan Motorcycle Experience (THME) is set to organize the 9th Mango Ride 2026 from June 19 to 22, 2026, with the aim of connecting motorcycle tourism, agriculture promotion and social responsibility in Nepal.
According to the press note, the ride will be held with Royal Enfield Nepal as the main sponsor and Nepal Tourism Board as the travel partner, along with support from different organizations. The annual event, which started in 2015, has become known as a unique campaign that promotes Nepal’s local tourism and agricultural products.
The main goal of Mango Ride is to promote Nepali and organic mangoes produced in the Terai region, support domestic tourism, strengthen the local economy and build a stronger connection between agriculture and tourism. During the ride, participants will visit mango farms and orchards, experience local food, take part in environmental activities and get the chance to buy locally produced mangoes.
THME said it has been working to explore and promote new and lesser-known tourism routes across Nepal. The organization has already connected with more than 70 districts through tourism, social service and awareness-based activities. It has also been running campaigns related to traffic awareness, road safety, disaster management, environmental protection and community support.
The organization has also contributed to social responsibility projects. During last year’s 8th Mango Ride, THME distributed educational materials to around 200 students from a Musahar settlement in Lahan, Siraha, and provided mosquito nets to their families. The program was inaugurated by Kulman Ghising, then Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority.
The first Mango Ride began in 2015 with only four riders. Today, it has become a much-awaited annual event among motorcycle travel lovers across Nepal. Except during special situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Madhesh movement, the ride has been organized every year in the first Friday of Asar.
The 2026 route will cover:
Kathmandu – Kurintar – Chitwan – Sauraha – Thori – Birgunj – Bardibas – Lahan – Mango Farm – Bardibas – Bhiman – Hetauda – Kulekhani – Kathmandu.
THME believes the 9th Mango Ride 2026 will help promote Nepal’s agriculture, tourism and social responsibility at both national and international levels. The organization has thanked all riders, sponsors, partner organizations, media and supporters for their contribution to the campaign.
