TVS Launches All-New Orbiter Electric Scooter in Nepal
KATHMANDU: TVS Motor Company has launched the all-new TVS Orbiter electric scooter in Nepal, expanding its electric two-wheeler lineup in the country. The scooter has been introduced at an introductory price of 281,900 rupees.
The Orbiter is designed mainly for daily urban travel and is powered by a 3.1 kWh lithium-ion battery paired with a 2.5 kW electric motor. It offers a claimed riding range of up to 158 kilometres on a full charge and has a top speed of 68 kilometres per hour.
The electric scooter comes with a 34-litre under-seat storage compartment, a 14-inch front wheel, cruise control, hill-hold assist and parking assist. It also includes a 5.5-inch LCD display, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, USB charging and smartphone-based connected features.
Safety and security features include crash and fall alerts, geofencing and anti-theft functions. The company is also offering a warranty of up to five years or 60,000 kilometres, subject to its terms and conditions.
With the launch of the Orbiter, TVS aims to offer Nepali customers a practical electric scooter for daily commuting while strengthening its presence in Nepal’s growing electric mobility market.
