Gujarat EV Startup Evor Launches First Electric Motorcycle With Up to 260 km Range

Kathmandu – Gujarat-based electric two-wheeler startup Evor has launched its first electric motorcycle in the Indian market.

The new motorcycle is available in three variants—EX1, EX2 and EX2S—with prices starting at INR 125,000.

The entry-level EX1 is equipped with a 3.24 kWh battery pack and a 10.5 kW electric motor. It offers a claimed riding range of up to 160 km on a full charge and can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

The mid-range EX2 features a larger 5 kWh battery paired with the same 10.5 kW motor. The company claims that the motorcycle can travel up to 255 km on a single charge.

With a top speed of 100 km/h, the EX2 comes with a 1,500-watt onboard charger, which can charge the battery from 20 to 80 percent in approximately two hours.

The top-spec EX2S also uses a 5 kWh battery and a 10.5 kW motor but offers the highest claimed range of up to 260 km.

The EX2S can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in only 2.8 seconds and has a maximum speed of 114 km/h. It also features a 7-inch touchscreen instrument console and five different riding modes.

With competitive range, quick acceleration and modern technology, Evor’s first electric motorcycle aims to strengthen its position in India’s rapidly expanding electric two-wheeler market.
