KATHMANDU — Shangrila Motors Pvt. Ltd. has officially launched the Leapmotor B03X Pro Max Premium SUV in Nepal, marking the latest addition to the country’s growing electric vehicle market. The EV was unveiled at an event held at The Plaza, Lalitpur, on August 7.
The B03X Pro Max has been introduced at a special price of Rs. 44.99 lakh for the first 100 customers, after which it will be priced at Rs. 46.99 lakh. Showroom previews and bookings have already begun across Nepal.
Powered by a 145 kW electric motor and a 53 kWh battery, the B03X offers a claimed driving range of up to 505 km (CLTC). It also comes with 185 mm ground clearance, designed to provide practicality across varying road conditions.
Inside, the electric SUV features a 14.6-inch 2.5K HD touchscreen, a 12-speaker surround sound system, and Level 2 ADAS technology for enhanced safety and driving assistance.
Speaking at the launch, Hemant Golchha, Director of Shangrila Motors, described the B03X’s arrival as an important step for electric mobility in Nepal and said the company aims to offer customers a smarter and more sustainable driving experience.
Leapmotor is globally backed by Stellantis, the automotive group behind brands including Maserati, Alfa Romeo and Peugeot. According to the press release, Leapmotor has sold more than 1.6 million vehicles globally and operates through over 1,700 sales and service points across more than 40 countries.
