Kathmandu – G.O. Automobiles, the authorised dealer of JSW MG Motor India in Nepal, has launched the MG Hector Tomahawk EV at an introductory price of Rs 57.99 lakh.
The introductory price is available to the first 50 customers. After that, the seven-seater electric SUV will be priced at Rs 61.99 lakh. Bookings had opened earlier, while sales have now officially begun in Nepal.
The Hector Tomahawk EV is powered by a 150 kW electric motor producing 310 Nm of torque. Its 69.2 kWh battery delivers a company-claimed range of up to 517 kilometres on a full charge.
The vehicle supports 90 kW DC fast charging, with the battery claimed to charge from 30 to 80 percent in approximately 35 minutes. It also features vehicle-to-home functionality, allowing the battery to supply electricity to compatible external systems.
Inside, the SUV offers a 15.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.8-inch digital driver display, a 10-speaker Infinity audio system, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging and connected-car technology.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, tyre-pressure monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and disc brakes on all four wheels. The top variant also receives Level 2 ADAS features, including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance and traffic-jam assistance.
The electric SUV measures 4,745 mm in length and has a 2,810 mm wheelbase, 230 mm ground clearance and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Its exterior features a closed grille, illuminated MG badge, LED lighting and a roof spoiler.
MG Motor Nepal has listed the Hector Tomahawk as a new arrival on its official website, although its complete Nepal-specific specifications have yet to be published.
