KATHMANDU — Preparations for the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 have entered the final stage at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, as organizers complete venue setup, exhibition halls, branding structures and partner displays ahead of the event’s opening on August 11.
The six-day mobility and automobile exhibition, organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), is scheduled to run from August 11 to 16, 2026, corresponding to Shrawan 26 to 31, 2083.
The expo is expected to bring together a wide range of automobile and mobility brands, covering four-wheelers, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles, electric vehicles, hybrid models, automotive technology and related services. More than 50 brands are expected to take part, with several companies preparing new product launches and technology showcases during the event.
Venue preparations at Bhrikutimandap are now visibly progressing, with Hall A, entrance structures, sponsor boards and partner branding already installed. The event is also bringing together companies from banking, insurance, charging infrastructure, technology, connectivity, road safety, hospitality and other supporting sectors.
According to event information released by the organizers, the expo will feature dozens of exhibition stalls and a large number of new vehicle and mobility product launches. Electric mobility and new automotive technology are expected to remain major highlights as Nepal’s vehicle market continues to shift toward cleaner and more connected transport solutions.
Several major automobile brands are expected to participate in the event, representing passenger vehicles, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. Companies are likely to use the platform to introduce new models, showcase upcoming technology and interact directly with customers and industry stakeholders.
Alongside vehicle displays, the expo is also expected to include technology demonstrations and knowledge-based sessions focused on mobility, innovation and the future of Nepal’s automobile sector.
The event has brought in a broad range of official partners. Branding visible at the venue includes Global IME Bank as co-sponsor, Red Bull as powered-by partner and Bosch as technology partner, along with partners from insurance, charging, connectivity, ticketing, safety, hospitality and other sectors.
With final construction, branding and logistical arrangements now underway, the countdown has begun for the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, which is expected to attract automobile enthusiasts, buyers, industry professionals, students and members of the public from across the country.
