KATHMANDU – The 18th edition of the NADA Auto Show is set to be held from August 25 to 30 ,2026 (Bhadra 9 to 14, 2083) at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu, bringing together major players from Nepal’s rapidly evolving automobile and mobility sector.
Organised by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA), the six-day exhibition will be held as the Golden Jubilee Edition to mark NADA’s 50th anniversary. The organisers expect around 200,000 visitors to attend the event.

The expo will showcase the changing economic, social and commercial landscape of Nepal’s automotive industry, with a particular focus on electric mobility, new technologies, sustainable transportation and the growing domestic manufacturing and assembly ecosystem.
More than 200 stalls will feature passenger vehicles from 23 brands, light commercial vehicles from 17 brands, two-wheelers from 13 brands, and financial and insurance services from 10 providers. Another 70 exhibitors will showcase automotive components, spare parts, accessories, tyres, lubricants, garage equipment and other automobile-related products and services.

A key feature of this year’s exhibition will be the presence of vehicles and automotive products manufactured or assembled in Nepal, including locally produced Yatri vehicles, locally assembled scooters and motorcycles, tyres, lubricants, batteries, helmets, spare parts and other components.
NADA President Surendra Kumar Upreti said the exhibition would highlight the gradual shift in Nepal’s automotive industry from an import-dependent market towards domestic production and assembly.

“The message we want to convey is that Nepal is no longer limited to importing automobiles. We are gradually moving towards self-reliance and developing domestic industries,” Upreti said. He added that the participation of locally manufactured and assembled products demonstrates that automobile production in Nepal could become increasingly feasible in the future.
According to Upreti, the 2026 edition will provide a comprehensive platform to showcase the rapid transformation taking place in Nepal’s automobile sector, particularly the rising consumer interest in electric vehicles, technological advancement, sustainable mobility and globally competitive products.
The exhibition is also expected to provide a much-needed boost to a relatively sluggish automobile market by stimulating consumer interest, facilitating business networking and supporting economic activity.

The expo will bring the broader automotive ecosystem under one roof, allowing consumers and industry stakeholders to directly experience the latest vehicles, technologies, products and services available in the market.
