Lalitpur – Devotees gathered at Mahalaxmisthan Temple, Lalitpur, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, worshipping Lord Vishwakarma along with their vehicles, tools and machinery as part of the traditional celebration. 
People brought their vehicles to the temple premises and performed rituals by offering flowers, tika and prayers, seeking blessings for safety, prosperity and smooth operation. The temple area witnessed devotees participating in the religious activities throughout the day.
Vishwakarma Puja is dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, regarded in Hindu tradition as the divine architect and craftsman. The festival is especially significant for mechanics, artisans, engineers, factory workers, drivers and professionals who rely on tools, machines and technical skills in their daily lives.
On this day, workplaces, workshops and garages across Nepal also worship their equipment and machinery as a gesture of respect and gratitude. The celebration reflects the cultural connection between faith, craftsmanship and the tools that support people’s livelihoods.
