Kathmandu – TVS Motor has launched six new motorcycles in the Indian market, expanding its popular Apache and Ronin line-ups with new variants, upgraded features and fresh colour options.
Under the Apache range, the company has introduced new top variants of the Apache RTR 160, RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V. TVS has also updated the Ronin range with additional features and launched new Black Diamond Editions of the RTR 310 and RR 310.
Deliveries of most of the newly launched motorcycles are expected to begin during the ongoing festive season.
In India, the new top variant of the RTR 160 has been priced at INR 128,000, while the RTR 160 4V is priced at INR 141,000 and the RTR 200 4V at INR 150,000.
The new Black Diamond Edition of the RTR 310 has been priced at INR 249,000, while the RR 310 Black Diamond Edition carries a price tag of INR 288,000.
TVS has also upgraded the Ronin range, which includes the Ronin Base Plus, Mid-Spec and Top-Spec variants. These are priced at INR 142,000, INR 151,000 and INR 163,000 respectively.
New Features in Apache RTR 160
The updated Apache RTR 160 receives several new features, including traction control, dual-channel ABS, hazard lights, LED indicators and LED signal lamps.
The Apache RTR 160 4V has also received a range of convenience and technology upgrades aimed at everyday riders. These include a new TFT display, Google Maps mirroring, panic brake alert and a Type-C charging port.
RTR 200 4vGets More Technology
TVS claims the updated RTR 200 is among the most technology-focused motorcycles in the 200cc segment.
The motorcycle now comes with a TFT display featuring Google Maps mirroring, panic brake alert, Type-C charging and adjustable front USD forks.
RTR 310 and RR310 Receive Black Diamond Treatment
The new Black Diamond Editions of the RTR 310 and RR 310 feature an all-black visual treatment, giving TVS’ flagship Apache motorcycles a darker and more premium appearance.
However, the company has not announced any major mechanical changes for the Black Diamond Editions. Both motorcycles continue to offer the equipment and features available in their respective top-spec configurations.
The RR 310 now also receives keyless-go technology, a feature that was already available on the RTR 310.
Ronin Range Updated with New Features
TVS has also enhanced the Base Plus, Mid and Top variants of the Ronin with additional equipment.
The Base Plus variant now receives dual-channel ABS, while the Mid variant gets a Type-C charging port, connected instrument cluster with additional functions, dual-channel ABS and gold-finished USD forks.
The Top variant receives traction control, a new premium seat, Type-C charging port and adjustable levers.
TVS has also introduced new colour options across these motorcycles. Apart from the feature and cosmetic updates, the company has not announced any major mechanical changes.
