Kathmandu – vivo has officially launched its new V80 smartphone in Nepal, featuring ZEISS-powered cameras, a 7,200mAh battery and 90W fast charging. The phone starts at Rs. 108,999 and is available for pre-booking until November 4.
The V80 is designed for users seeking advanced photography features, a premium design and long battery life. It comes with a 50-megapixel ZEISS Super Telephoto camera supporting 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.
The smartphone also features a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus, designed for detailed portraits and group selfies. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.
The device has a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and detailed visuals. Despite its large battery, the phone measures just 7.69mm thick and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Powered by OriginOS 7, the V80 includes artificial intelligence features aimed at improving everyday productivity. Its Capture to Note function can convert photographed notes and whiteboards into editable documents, while AI Recorder can transcribe recordings and summarize important information.
vivo says the smartphone is designed to maintain smooth performance over six years, with extended security updates to support long-term use.
In Nepal, the V80 is offered in two storage configurations. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs Rs. 108,999, while the 8GB RAM and 512GB storage version is priced at Rs. 133,999. Customers can choose between Rise Orange and Prime Gray finishes.
As part of its introductory promotion, the first 1,200 eligible customers who pre-book between November 1 and 4 can receive complimentary vivo earbuds, Rs. 2,000 cashback, front and back screen-breakage protection and an additional six months of warranty coverage.
The smartphone is scheduled to become available from November 5 through Daraz and authorized retail outlets across Nepal. The company is also offering a 12-month, zero-interest installment option for eligible customers.
With its emphasis on portrait photography, AI-powered tools and battery performance, the V80 expands vivo’s premium smartphone offerings in Nepal.
