Special Shrawan with four Mondays: Devotees celebrate the first Monday

Hindu devotees marked the first Monday of Shrawan today by worshipping Lord Shiva at various temples and shrines across the country. This day holds great significance as it is considered highly auspicious in the Hindu calendar.

Many Hindu women observed fasting as a form of devotion to Lord Shiva. The act of fasting on this day is a long-standing tradition, deeply rooted in religious practices and beliefs. This year’s Shrawan has four Mondays.
