Auspicious Bhai Tika timing set for 11:37 AM; Kija Puja to be observed on the same day

The Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee, the official body for deciding the dates and times of festivals celebrated in the country, has set the auspicious time for Bhai Tika on Sunday, November 3, at 11:37 AM. The ritual, part of the Tihar festival, celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters and can be observed throughout the day.

Surya Prasad Dhungel, Executive Director of the Committee, confirmed on October 28 that Kija Puja, observed by the Newar community, will also take place on the same day.
