Genese Solution launches G-TEC to empower local youth in ICT sector

Genese Solution, a global IT consulting company, and Kageshwori Manohara Municipality have launched the Genese Technology & Excellence Center (G-TEC) in Mulpani to equip local youth with advanced tech skills and create employment opportunities in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.

During the launch event, Mayor Upendra Karki emphasized the initiative’s potential to transform the community. “This collaboration with Genese Solution will guide our youth toward gainful employment,” he said. Ward 6 Chairman Prakash Phuyal repeated this sentiment, highlighting the importance of local job creation in preventing youth migration abroad.

Genese Solution CEO Anjani Phuyal outlined G-TEC’s vision: “This center will train youth in web development, data science, AI, and cybersecurity while connecting them with certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.” He also introduced a dedicated Girls in Tech group to promote women’s participation in the tech industry.

Nearly 70 local youths have already registered for the courses, marking a promising start for G-TEC.
