Coca-Cola sets Guinness World Record with Largest Momo Party in Nepal
Coca-Cola Nepal recently set a Guinness World Record for “Largest Momo Party” in Nepal, serving over 500 participants with two Momos and a 250 ml Coke each. A Food Hygiene Inspector and two witnesses ensured top safety standards. For over 15 minutes, participants enjoyed Momos and Coca-Cola beverages, highlighting Coca-Cola’s commitment to fostering joy and unity in the community through festivities.
The event took place on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Ground in Bouddha, Kathmandu, during the second edition of ‘Kathmandu is Cooking‘.
Chandrika Kalia, the Country Director for Coca-Cola in Nepal, expressed her pride in the company’s accomplishment, emphasizing the love Nepali people have for Coke and Momos. The event celebrated Nepali culture and created memorable experiences for the community. For nine years, Coca-Cola has been organizing the Momo Utsav campaign in Nepal, combining Coke with Momos to spread happiness and joy throughout the nation, showcasing the strong affection Nepalis have for this delightful culinary pairing.
