Huawei Y6Pro in the Market

April 10, 2016: Chinese handset maker Huawei has launched Huawei Y6 Pro in Nepal. Available from today in the domestic market, the new Huawei smartphone carries a price tag of Rs. 22,499. “This sleek yet powerful device is a fine pick because of its high class performance, long-lasting battery and its simplicity with an edge,” says the company in a press statement. As per the company’s claim, Y6Pro is one of the only phones on the market that can last for days of heavy usage. “Its super-powerful battery also boasts and extremely quick charge time – just 10 minutes of charging from 0 percent battery delivers three hours of call time – and if that wasn’t enough, the device doubles as a portable charger, powering up devices and other phones on the go,” reads the statement.

The phone is powered by a quad-core 64-bit processor and comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. “Designed for the young, this trendy device is a perfect value for money kind of a product,” says the company.  Similarly, Y6 Pro boasts a 4,000 mAh battery with a flash charge and also allows reverse charging. As claimed by the company, the handset’s battery can provide backup for standby time up to 416 hours.

Y6 Pro sports a 5-inch HD IPS screen with NCVM plating and water wave curve design. “Its sparkling ripple grains combined with a screen is a treat to the eyes. This 8.5mm thin device that allows single hand control makes it definitely one of a kind,” says the company.

The new Huawei smartphone has a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP secondary snapper.

“Using the Y6 Pro, one can capture all the moments without compromising on the picture quality,” reads the statement, adding, “Its seven-piece lens has F2.0 aperture for high definition shots every time and a 5 MP front-facing camera, offering F2.2 aperture, a wide angle range and a high density sensor.”  Similarly, a new feature for the Y-series range of smartphones, enables users to remove backlight to improve the quality of an image and let the real subject of the photo shine through – no more wasting time setting up shots – just shoot and move on, according to the company.

The camera also features Action Shot mode with which users can take up to 10 pictures in one single shot. Meanwhile, other camera features of the phone include ultra-fast snapshot, panorama shot and auto face enhancement for various shooting modes including selfie.
