In the EV sector, Cymex introduces the automobile industry’s leading extended warranty with BYD

Kathmandu – Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry in Nepal, has announced the implementation of a comprehensive extended warranty policy for all BYD electric vehicles (EVs) sold in Nepal.
This move is expected to set a new benchmark in the EV industry’s after-sales support sector.
The new warranty reflects the company’s unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and confidence in BYD’s advanced electric vehicle technology. The following extended coverage will be offered under this policy:
Battery Warranty
The previous warranty of 8 years or 160,000 kilometers has now been extended to 10 years or 200,000 kilometers, making it the longest battery warranty coverage in the EV industry.
Motor Warranty
Previously, 8 years or 150,000 kilometers, now extended to 10 years or 200,000 kilometers. This ensures long-term peace of mind for valued customers.
Whole Vehicle Warranty
Coverage on components like lights, tire pressure monitoring modules, suspension ball joints, etc., has been upgraded from 4 years or 100,000 kilometers to 5 years or 125,000 kilometers.
General Vehicle Parts Warranty
For all vehicle parts except consumables, oil, charging equipment, gifts, and refrigerators, the warranty has been increased from 6 years or 150,000 kilometers to 7.5 years or 187,500 kilometers.
