inDrive Nepal: What’s new after the launch?
The US-based inDrive started operations in Nepal in April 2022, boasting over 150 million downloads and a presence in 47 nations. After the two-years of unofficial operation, inDirve has been officially launched in Nepal.
The ride-hailing app known for its no-commission policy for drivers and fare bargaining for passengers, will implement a 10% service charge on drivers for each ride, including taxes.
Similarly, the company will expand its services beyond Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara and Bharatpur to various regions of Nepal.
Additionally, inDrive plans to introduce an insurance facility soon, addressing safety concerns. The paperwork is being processed in the background and will go live soon.
The company has courier services throughout the valley and is exploring cargo services. The details will be revealed soon.
Partnering with IME Pay, inDrive now offers payment options for drivers features expected soon.
