Kathmandu – Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has unveiled its new 450 RC supersport motorcycle at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy, introducing a twin-cylinder model aimed at the entry-level and mid-displacement sportbike segment.
The motorcycle was presented during the international motorcycle exhibition held from November 3 to 8. KTM has confirmed that production is planned for late 2027, with the bike arriving as a 2028 model-year motorcycle.
KTM says the 450 RC features its own chassis setup, suspension calibration and specifications, designed to deliver the brand’s characteristic sporty riding dynamics.
The motorcycle uses adjustable WP APEX suspension, including a 43 mm upside-down front fork with compression and rebound adjustment. Its rear WP APEX shock offers preload and rebound adjustment and is mounted to a single-sided swingarm.
Braking equipment includes a 320 mm front disc and a four-piston radial WP caliper. Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tyres will be fitted as standard.
Electronic rider aids include cornering ABS, motorcycle traction control, dual-channel ABS with Road and Supermoto modes, and multiple riding modes.
A five-inch TFT instrument display provides access to the motorcycle’s settings, while USB-A and USB-C charging ports add everyday convenience.
The 450 RC is intended for riders seeking a smaller-capacity sports motorcycle with premium components and electronic features more commonly associated with larger models.

KTM has not yet released full technical specifications, official pricing or detailed availability information for individual markets. The motorcycle’s launch date and price in Nepal remain unconfirmed.
The company says further details will be announced closer to the start of production.
