Lumbini Tech Innovation Center opens in Butwal as TechPaaila’s B2C Partner
Butwal: Lumbini Tech Innovation Center (LTIC) has been officially inaugurated in Butwal with the aim of developing the Lumbini region as a modern digital hub. The center was launched during a special ceremony held at Siddhartha Cottage, Butwal, and has entered the market as a special B2C partner of TechPaaila Innovations.
The program was held under the chairmanship of LTIC Founder Chairman Dhan Bahadur Rana. During the event, the center presented its long-term vision of turning Lumbini into a Global Tech Hub, with a special focus on courses in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Data Science.
According to the organizers, LTIC will provide services including high-level software development, mobile app development, cybersecurity consulting, data protection, IT incubation support, and startup ecosystem promotion. The center aims to support local youths, entrepreneurs, students, and businesses by connecting them with modern technology skills and professional IT services.
Chief guest Shiv Gyawali, Acting General Secretary of Nepal Chamber of Commerce Butwal, Rupandehi, praised the vision of LTIC and its founder. He said the initiative would help local youths become skilled and self-reliant in modern technology, which could positively contribute to the regional economy.
Formalizing the partnership, Chiranjeevi Adhikari, Associate Director of TechPaaila and special guest at the event, handed over the official B2C Partner Certificate to Lumbini Tech Innovation Center. He expressed confidence that the collaboration would help expand TechPaaila Innovations’ technology services in Butwal and surrounding areas.
Speaking at the event, Kishu Sharma, Principal of Western Mega College, appreciated Rana’s dedication for returning to his home district after leaving an international job opportunity in Dubai to contribute to grassroots-level technology development. Similarly, ICT Senior Faculty Asmita Sedhai said the concept of developing a software hub in the region was a commendable step.
Representatives from CAN Federation, including Secretary Narayan Shrestha, Central Committee Member Dhruba Raj Phuyal, and CAN Federation Rupandehi Chairperson Jiwan Adhikari, welcomed the initiative and extended best wishes for its success. They said the center could help identify local talent and strengthen IT consulting and service delivery in Rupandehi and the wider Lumbini region.
The inauguration ceremony saw the participation of local policymakers, IT professionals, business leaders, education sector representatives, and enthusiastic Gen Z youths interested in technology.
