MAW Unveils Ray ZR Scooter

September 01, 2016: Morang Auto Works (MAW) Enterprises, the authorised distributor of Yamaha two-wheelers in Nepal, launched the new Cygnus Ray-ZR scooter in Nepal. Yamaha's latest addition in the scooter segment is based on familiar Ray platform with perfect sporty looks. The 'Sporty Scooter' designed in a concept by balancing the deeply-sculpted and powerful front mask, effortlessly-layered straight lines, and tail surround accentuated with a sense of speed.

The Ray-ZR is powered by an air-cooled 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve 113cc "BLUE CORE" engine with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) unit.The main features of the new scooter includes best fuel efficiency in its class at 66 kmpl, plenty of storage space (21 liters under seat storage), newly designed instrument cluster with excellent readability, even at night and tubeless tyres.The Ray ZR comes with disc or drum brakes. The disc brake model comes in two colors matt green and fizz white and drum brake model is available in two different colors maverick blue and rooster red.
