Kathmandu – The Mrs Nepal World 2026 Sashing Ceremony has been successfully held in Kathmandu, giving a glimpse of the upcoming grand finale of one of Nepal’s prominent beauty pageants for married women.
The grand sashing event, organised on Thursday evening at Baneshwor Hills, Thapagaun, featured the official introduction of the finalists selected for the competition. A total of 22 contestants were presented with their official tags and sashes by renowned personalities from different fields, marking their entry as official participants in the final round.
The selected contestants were chosen through auditions held across different parts of Nepal. During the ceremony, the participants introduced themselves and showcased their presence as they prepare for the final stage of the competition.
The finalists competing for the Mrs Nepal World 2026 title include Priyashikha Khadka, Sagun Khanal, Sofia Dhakal, Richa Sharma, Swiksha Poudyal, Rasna Shrestha, Yasmin Begum Said, Neha Gupta, Dipti Dhungel, Bindu Thapa Rana, Shilpa Nyaupane, Shanta Rana, Sunita Shrestha Karmacharya, Sandhya Lama, Binita Gurung, Jyoti Lamichhane, Samiksha Ranabhat, Sushma Thapa, Kristina Gyanwali, Anju Pariyar, Monica Tamang and Kanchan Maharjan.
According to organiser Ribbon Entertainment, this year’s competition features women from diverse professional backgrounds, including homemakers, doctors, engineers, bankers, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, fashion designers, nurses and managers. The organisers stated that the platform aims to provide married women with an opportunity to showcase their talent, confidence and personality while balancing their professional and family responsibilities.
The grand finale of Mrs Nepal World 2026 is scheduled to be held on Kartik 14 at Nepal Police Club. The winner of the competition will represent Nepal at the international Mrs World competition to be held in the United States.
Along with the Mrs Nepal World title, winners of Mrs Nepal International, Ms International and Mrs Cosmo titles will also be selected from the same platform. The winners of these categories will get an opportunity to participate in international competitions in Singapore.
The competition will be conducted under the choreography of Ashwini Jha, with participants receiving around 45 days of training before the finale. Dance training will be provided by Sandeep Bhujel, while Nisha Baraili will serve as co-choreographer. The event will be coordinated by Ganga Maharjan and Bindiya Shrestha.
The 22 finalists will now take part in various training sessions and competitive activities as they prepare for the final stage of Mrs Nepal World 2026, organised by Ribbon Entertainment.
