Nepal-China Friendship Short Video Contest Opens

Kathmandu- The 2026 NepalChina Friendship in Focus: Short Video Contest (Nepal) has officially opened, inviting participants to share creative stories highlighting Nepal–China friendship, cultural exchange, and the ties between the two countries.

Participants are required to submit a video of up to three minutes in 1080P resolution or higher, with Chinese or English subtitles. Horizontal (16:9) format is preferred, though vertical (9:16) videos are also accepted.

To participate, contestants must first upload their video to TikTok, tag @chineseembassyinnepal, and include the hashtag #ChinaNepalFriendshipshortvideo. They must then email the TikTok link to volunteershomeinnepal@gmail.com with the subject line “Contestant Name + Artwork Title.”

The submission period runs from July 7 to July 27, 2026. Organizers said the contest aims to encourage people to showcase their creativity while celebrating the friendship and cultural connections between Nepal and China.
