KATHMANDU: The NADA Auto Show 2026 concludes on Sunday after a six-day exhibition at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Running from August 25 to 30, the event has brought together automobile brands, new vehicle models, electric mobility solutions, automotive technology and locally assembled products under one platform.
The 18th edition of the auto show also marks the 50th anniversary of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal. Covering nearly 300,000 square feet, the exhibition features more than 200 stalls representing over 150 brands, making it one of the country’s largest automobile exhibitions.
The show features a wide range of passenger vehicles, electric vehicles, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles, alongside tyres, batteries, lubricants, spare parts, accessories and garage equipment. Banks, insurance companies and other automotive service providers are also participating, giving visitors access to financing and related services at the venue.
Electric mobility has remained a major focus of this year’s exhibition, with automobile companies showcasing new EV models and technologies alongside conventional vehicles. The event has also provided space for emerging technologies, including humanoid and quadruped robots.
Another key focus has been Nepal-made and locally assembled automotive products. Locally assembled vehicles and domestically produced batteries, lubricants, helmets and other automotive products are being displayed, highlighting Nepal’s growing participation in the automobile industry.
Beyond vehicle displays and launches, the exhibition has served as a meeting point for automobile companies, consumers, financial institutions, investors and industry stakeholders, creating opportunities for business interaction and discussions on the future of Nepal’s mobility sector.
Organisers had expected around 200,000 visitors during the six-day exhibition and approximately 40 new vehicle model launches. Final attendance figures are yet to be officially announced.
As the NADA Auto Show 2026 reaches its final day, the exhibition concludes its Golden Jubilee edition after six days focused on new vehicles, electric mobility, domestic automotive products and industry engagement.
