National Botanical Garden, Godavari
National Botanical Garden is a Government institution holding documented collections of living plants for the purpose of scientific research, conservation, display and education. The garden is situated at Godawari 14 km southeast of Kathmandu. It is located at the foothills of Mt. Phulchwoki (2715m), the highest peak of the Kathmandu valley. Godavari Botanical Garden offers visitors chance to stroll leisurely around the mainly open parkland habitat. The garden spreads over an area of 82 hectares of varying topography and exposure of which 35 ha. has been developed into various Garden units such as:
