National Healthcare Named Best Managed Company at Newbiz Business Conclave

National Healthcare Pvt Ltd, based in Birgunj, was honored as the Best Managed Company of the Year at the eighth Newbiz Business Conclave and Awards.

The event, organized annually by New Business Age, recognized Shyam Bahadur Panday with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his notable contributions to the business sector. Soaltee Hotel received the award for Premium Hotel of the Year, while Hospital for Advanced Medicine and Surgery (HAMS) was lauded as the Best Hospital of the Year, with these categories newly introduced this year.

Additionally, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited was named the Best Managed Commercial Bank of the Year, and Krishi Bikas Bank received recognition for serving marginalized geographical areas. NMB Bank Limited was acknowledged for its performance in prescribed sector lending. Shine Resunga Development Bank Limited earned the title of Best Managed Development Bank of the Year, and Manjushree Finance Ltd. was awarded as the Best Managed Finance Company of the Year.

In the insurance sector, Asian Life Insurance Company and Siddhartha Premier Insurance Ltd were respectively honored as the Best Life Insurance Company and the Best Non-Life Insurance Company of the Year.The awards, distributed across 11 categories including one for lifetime achievement, were presented following a rigorous evaluation process conducted by an independent jury panel comprising experts from various fields.

The event, inaugurated by Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies Damodar Bhandari, featured panel discussions on navigating business opportunities during challenging times. Key sponsors of the event included Asian Paints, NIC Asia Bank, and Nexon EV, among others.
