Nepali AI Firm TingTing Expands to Sri Lanka with “Made in Nepal” Technology

Kathmandu-Nepali artificial intelligence company TingTing has expanded its business to Sri Lanka through a partnership with Colombo-based Effective Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. The collaboration aims to introduce TingTing’s AI-powered business communication systems to Sri Lankan companies, entrepreneurs, and service providers.

Effective Solutions is a Sri Lankan technology company founded in 2013 by alumni of the University of Moratuwa. The company has offices in Sri Lanka, Japan, and the United Kingdom, and is connected with TRACE, Sri Lanka’s national innovation platform that supports startups and technology-driven businesses.

TingTing has also started preparations to establish an office in Sri Lanka so it can directly serve local clients. The company said the move is part of its wider goal to take Nepali-built technology to international markets.

TingTing’s platform helps businesses manage customer communication from one place by combining calls, SMS, social media, email, web chat, and call-centre operations. This helps reduce missed messages, delayed replies, repeated conversations, and poor tracking of customer service quality.

The TingTing Suite includes tools such as TingTing Call Broadcast, TingTing Text, TingTing Forms, TingTing Agents, TingTing Omni, and TingTing Connect. These products support customer outreach, feedback collection, AI-assisted conversations, multi-channel communication, and call-centre management.

The platform also offers features such as call recording, transcription, sentiment analysis, AI-generated summaries, and real-time dashboards. These tools allow management teams to monitor customer conversations, service-team performance, and areas that need improvement.

In Nepal, TingTing is already being used by banks, insurance companies, internet service providers, government agencies, and digital wallets. With its entry into Sri Lanka, the company says its slogan “Made in Nepal, for the World” has become more meaningful.
