New service center brings international standard laptop and mobile repair technology to Nepal

Kathmandu-Nepal’s first advanced chip-level device repair service has officially been launched in Kathmandu, marking a significant step forward in the country’s digital repair industry.

The newly established N EYE Laptop Service Centre, located on the fourth floor of KNK Electronics Complex in Pako, New Road, has introduced the international RepairX franchise to Nepal. The center aims to provide affordable repair solutions for laptops, smartphones, and other digital devices, allowing customers to restore damaged equipment instead of replacing it.The service center offers chip-level motherboard repairs, data recovery from damaged or non-functional devices, software troubleshooting for iOS and Android devices, MacBook and Windows laptop repairs, as well as official installation of Windows, Adobe, and Microsoft Office software packages.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice-Chairman of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Dr. Mohammad Safiullah, said the technology would be highly beneficial for a developing country like Nepal. He noted that expensive devices that would otherwise be discarded due to minor technical faults can now be repaired at a fraction of the replacement cost, helping consumers save money while extending the lifespan of their devices.Special guest and Acting President of the CAN Federation, cybersecurity expert Chiranjibi Adhikari, described the introduction of such advanced repair technology in Nepal as a positive development for the country’s information technology sector. He said affordable pricing, quick turnaround times, and warranty-backed services would help build greater consumer confidence.

Ganesh Sharma, operator of the service center, said the company’s primary goal is to earn customers’ trust through quality work and transparent service. He added that the center aims to bring old and non-functional laptops, mobile phones, and other digital devices back to life at an affordable cost.

Equipped with modern tools, advanced technology, and a skilled technical team, N EYE Laptop Service Centre is expected to become a major destination for digital device repair services in the Kathmandu Valley.
