Nissan Tekton set for Nepal Launch at NAIMA Mobility Expo

KATHMANDU: Nissan is preparing to introduce its new Tekton SUV in Nepal through the upcoming NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo, following the start of deliveries across India. Pioneer Moto Corp, Nissan’s authorised distributor for Nepal, has confirmed that the model will make its official local debut at the event.

The Tekton has been introduced in five variants—Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+—offering different combinations of technology, comfort, and premium features. Inside, the SUV features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch central touchscreen infotainment system, giving the cabin a modern and connected appearance.

Higher-end equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, powered tailgate, and six-way adjustable ventilated front seats. These features position the Tekton as a premium, feature-rich SUV aimed at customers seeking both comfort and everyday practicality.

Nissan is offering the vehicle with two turbo-petrol engine choices: a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine and a more powerful 1.3-litre four-cylinder unit. Detailed Nepal-specific specifications, variant availability, and pricing are expected to be announced during the official launch.

Visitors to the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo will be able to view the Tekton closely and are also expected to receive information regarding bookings and delivery schedules.

Once launched in Nepal, the Nissan Tekton will compete in the popular midsize SUV segment against models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
